As Harriet Brown has pointed out; there is a Parade Magazine tid-bit which encourages folks to vote on whether or not “Obese” persons should have to pay for a second seat in an airplane.
Southwest’s defense of the new policy discriminating against sizes?
“We want to give everybody the room they need,” she says. “People should be able to breathe a little without their neighbor encroaching.”
Well then Southwest; how about a little common sense? If the seats were large enough to not have even the smallest of body frames hunched in on itself; perhaps this would be a non-issue.
