Crafting

One of my all-time favorite hobbies is crochet (and now knitting!). I love to make huge soft blankets. I have been teaching myself (via books and blogs) how to crochet “In the Round”; that is how to crochet in a circle in order to make many of the adorable stuffed toys known often now as “Amigurumi” (which in Japanese means “knitted stuff toy”).

Since I have started I have also found myself having fun in making up my own little patterns for creatures that I can’t find good patterns to make.

And since I wanted to put all of the creatures and patterns in one place I have added this page here to keep track of all the creations I am designing for the easy access of anyone looking to make something fun that I’ve crafted up. Clicking the images will take you to the corresponding pattern page.

I look forward to growing this list! If you have a suggestion for a creature or toy that you’d love a pattern for but have thus far been unable to find anywhere in crochet feel free to suggest it and I will see what I can do!

Please note that I do not knit so I am not able to convert any of these patterns for knitters. If you are a knitter and would like to tackle that project just let me know and I’d be delighted to add a link to your pattern here!
